Labels
Before you start publishing your blog entries, lets briefly discuss labeling. Every time you publish a blog post, you will need to include a label (alternatively called a "tag"), which provides your readers with a convenient way to search postings that pertain to a specific topic. Labels are essentially clickable links that organize all the information found on a blog. Appropriately and accurately labeling your posts is a requirement for the assignment.
There are only a handful of labels you will use for this blog and they have already been created. All you will need to do is choose the label most relevant to your assigned topic. There are two places where you will see labels: along the right side of the blog and near the end of each post. By clicking on one, all posts that have used a particular label will be sorted for easy access.
When you are ready to create your draft (unpublished post) and apply your label(s), look on the right side of the screen to find 'post settings.' If you do not see any options, click the small arrow next to post settings to expand the menu. To add your labels, select 'labels' and simply click on those you want; when finished, click done. If you would like to request a label for a post, let me know and one can be created.
As always, please contact the me if you need any assistance. I am happy to help!
